In order to apply the Kukkiwon Dan application for your students.

​

Effective July 2023, only masters who are certified as an International Master will be able to apply for the Kukkiwon Dan for their students. Otherwise, your Dan application will be denied.

  1. Starting in July 2023, only masters who possess at least a 3rd Class International Master Certificate will be able to apply for Kukkiwon Dan certificates for their students. Otherwise, Dan Applications will be denied.
     

  2. If you are Kukkiwon 4th Dan or higher you are eligible to apply for the 3rd Class International Master Course and the 3rd Class Poom/Dan Examiner Course at the same time.
     

  3. If you are Kukkiwon 2nd Dan or 3rd Dan you are eligible to apply for the 3rd Class International Master Course. The completion of this course will be recorded on your Kukkiwon profile and when you become a Kukkiwon 4th Dan, you can apply to have an International Master certificate be issued to you.
     

  4. If you are Kukkiwon 3rd Dan or higher you are eligible to apply for the Hanmadang Referee Course.
     

  5. For those outside of the United States, please follow the USA Health Department regulation. LINK

Eligibility of Participation & Fees

1st Class or 2nd Class Poom/Dan Examiner applier who is a current KMS member and has applied for 10 or more per year to Kukkiwon Dan Certification for the past 3 years (2019-2021) will receive a $200 credit refund.

  7. (In case you took the online Theory Portion)7) Proof of Passing the Online Theory Master Course (3rd Class Master Course Candidates) -- Online 3 rd Class Master Lecture Certification, Online ID and Password

  8. Copy of Current Certification (Refresher Participants)

  9. Proof of Participation (Re-Test Participants)

 

All participants must bring the following:

 

  1. Dobok (Kukkiwon-recognized Taekwondo uniform meaning all white with black v-neck), training shoes, and writing instruments.

  2. Identification such as a Driver's License or a Passport.

  3. USA Citizens/Residents.
    A) Either have a Covid-19 vaccination card OR a Negative Covid-19 test result within the last 72 hours.

  4. Foreigners.
    A) Follow the USA Health Department Regulation. LINK

Application WTA Web ID requirement

How to obtain your WTA web ID
1. Go to the Kukkiwon Online Program website LINK
2. Click "sign up" link located on the top right
3. Sign up and agree to the terms and conditions
4. Click "save"
5. Click "Retrieve current Poom, Dan and certification information"
6. Click date of birth, country, and Dan certificate number

Detailed On-line Program

Application: World Taekwondo Academy (Kukkiwon Online Program - http://wta.kukkiwon.or.kr/en)
1. Log in after registering as a member of the website (available 24 hours a day)
2. Apply for the online course and payment ($100)
3. Take online course (9 subjects 18 hours)
4. After taking the course (100%), apply for the online test and take the online test.

All sales are final
If you are not qualified and you applied for any course you won't be refunded.
